Apart from antivirus software, this download has also been tested with several popular anti-malware and anti-spam services. Below are some services we have tested this program with:
- I have got an Amiga 600HD and I can reach 38400 bps while using the lowest ScreenMode settings. Well this method with 'Amiga Explorer' is much more slowlier than 'ADFSend' because Amiga Explorer do not send the raw disk image data to the amiga. There are controll/checksumm bytes and all is send in packages.
- With Explorer running on the Amiga, and the Main PC AE turned off, when attempting to connect the Old PC to the Amiga, via Amiga Explorer I get a message on the Old PC saying that there is a conflict accessing the Amiga's resources.
Amiga Explorer is also free to try under a shareware license. Registration is appreciated, but many features, including the new command-line mode, are fully functional in trial mode. Traditionally, updates to the Amiga (server) side of Amiga Explorer have also been made available via an 'AExplorerUpdate.lha' file on Aminet.
