1) Find the 2 dimples on the front bumper. They are located near the center of the vehicle. This is where the license plate bracket mounts. Note: The square holes are for non-U.S. Vehicle plates and are not used in this installation. 2) Trial fit the license plate bracket to the vehicle to verify fit. Each STO N SHOTM aftermarket quick release front license plate bracket is expertly hand welded and drilled. After it’s assembled the base plate welds are ground smooth. The bracket is then anodized black. The final step in the process is to install the pull pin and test the product. License Plate Bracket by Replace®. License plate brackets make it easy and convenient to mount license plates, but their usual mounting locations on the bumper make them particularly vulnerable to impact damage in a collision. I'm having a problem trying to install the front license plate holder on my 2015 Transit. It was delivered without it being installed and now that I have my plates I can't figure out how to get it on. I called the dealer and they refuse to give me instructions and told me I have to bring it in which I cannot do because of my work schedule.

Some 2019 Ranger vehicles equipped with a front license plate bracket noted on the loose items check sheet. May exhibit missing instructions for installation at Pre-delivery. Looking at the tag bracket front side, there is an arrow cast into the middle bar; Arrow needs to point up when properly installed. To install, with bracket arrow up, insert the 2 upper brackets (hooks no holes) into the matching slots on the steel bumper, centered 6” below the Ford Oval. Press into position until Hooks are snapped into the slots on both sides, press towards the steel bumper until the lower brackets line up with holes on the bottom of the bumper. Install the screws provided to secure the bracket, torque to 4.8 Nm (43 lb–in).
