This is a ZTE USB modem that is set to a multimode 3G working with HSDPA/EDGE/GSM/GPRS.UMTS/HSUPA networks that are designed to work with multimode modems. The modem can be connected to a PC or Laptop thanks to the USB interface connection. The modem integrates the functionality of a mobile phone and a modem and connects this two to convert them to mobile communication that combines well with the internet. The ZTE modem supports SMS and data services via the mobile phone network giving the user the ability to communicate from anywhere. Activation of the ZTE is quite simple and one does not require any expert help. All the user need to do is to insert the UISM card and insert the plastic socket into the USB slot until there is a click sound. This is explained fully in the universal manual that comes with the ZTE modem.

The ZTE comes with a green indicator that helps the user to identify the modems status. If connected correctly the indicator indicates in green and if not the indicator is red in color. When transmitting the indicator is green in color but it keeps on flashing. The ZTE comes with a slot that is meant for Micro SDHC card.
